What to do and what you shouldn't do?
As we all know, the seniors are getting all hyped up about Senior Prom. The buzz is going around all the high schools and the girls are ready. But what should the guys do? The girls are hitting the mall fast and hard to find that " perfect" dress for this special night. The guys are just stuck standing. Here are the top ten do's and dont's that everybody, including you fellas, should be doing to get ready.
The Do's and Dont's About Prom:
1.Do set a budget for prom and stick to it. You don't want to get a huge bill for one night out. Make sure you spend your bank rolls wisely.
2.Do use a prom check list to make sure you are prepared. Make sure you have everything so you can avoid your last minute shopping. Have it all ready and don't freak out on minor details.
3.Do brainstorm with your friends to get ideas for things to do before and after prom. Make sure you have a game plan for you and your date. Make up meeting places if you are in a group of people and make sure you have rides home or to your next party.
4.Do talk to your parents before hand to make sure there are no surprises for either of you on prom night. Make sure they can reach you and that you can reach them. They need to know what your plans are so nothing bad happens. Play it safe.
5.Do make sure you have plenty of rest the night before prom. Girls, you need all the beauty sleep you can get to look good on this special night and fells, make sure you get all rested up and looked good too because the ladies will not be happy with you looking a mess.
6.Don’t go to prom with someone you don’t like. You will ruin your night and it'll go down in history. You want to make sure that whoever you go with is someone you like, not some last minute pick.
7. Do be prepared for emergencies. Take extra money along, take a camera with you to capture pictures, bring your cell phone and take care of your belongings. You might want to include an emergency repair kit for anything that may come apart.
8.Do enjoy the dance. Don’t just show up, take pictures and then leave. Participate and enjoy your friends. Prom is a big party so have fun! You are making a memory that will last a lifetime.
9.Don’t expect prom to be anything other than it is, a night with friends. You will probably hang out with the same people and talk about the same things. It is not the start of new social life. It is just like any other dance or party but with a dressed up formal theme. Don’t set you self up for disappointment when it is over.
10.Don’t do anything you will regret later. Don’t use prom night as a reason to do something you know is wrong. Drinking and sex is not something that will make prom night more fun. Keep it safe so your night to remember
